The Mykolaiv Region welcomed a 16 MW of clean energy

September 17, 2019

Rengy Development has commissioned a new industrial solar power plant, "T," with a capacity of 16 MW in the Mykolaiv region.

The entire project, from engineering and construction to commissioning, was executed by Rengy Development's in-house engineering division, BlockMaster. A total of 48,604 polycrystalline solar panels, each with a power output of 330 W, were installed on 2,759 supporting metal structures, all manufactured by BlockMaster.

The "T" plant is part of a larger joint venture between Rengy Development and the Norwegian company Scatec Solar. This solar park has a total capacity of 47 MW, generating approximately 56 GWh annually. This output is sufficient to power 15,000 Ukrainian households and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 51,000 tons per year, equivalent to removing 10,200 cars from the roads.
