Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Kyiv / hybrid format
Key Responsibilities (Current Stage)
- Interaction with SCADA / EMS contractors: monitoring, connectivity, and data collection
- Support and development of the Energy Forecasting System
- Understanding of telemetry systems, signals, and basic industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, MQTT)
- Organization of data transfer from operational systems to corporate analytics tools
- Configuration of cloud environments (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), access rights, and security
- Documentation of IT infrastructure, data exchange logic, and user systems
- Coordination with IT contractors to ensure uninterrupted operation of office IT infrastructure (servers, networks, laptops, MFPs, domains, VPN, email, users)
- Ensuring baseline cybersecurity (updates, antivirus, access policies)
Function Development Horizons (1–3 Years)
- Design and implementation of the company’s data architecture (DWH, integrations between SCADA, trading, ERP, CRM)
- Implementation and development of an Energy Billing & Settlement System
- Automation of data exchange between power plants (solar, BESS, gas engine), trading, and finance
- Development of basic BI dashboards (Power BI, Grafana) for generation and market monitoring
- Participation in building an energy management system based on SCADA / EMS
- Creation of a historical data storage platform for future AI / ML applications
- Collaboration with Forecasting and Trading teams to implement forecasting models
- Gradual transition from an administrative role to Head of IT & Systems, with full responsibility for IT, analytics, integrations, and security
Candidate Profile
Education:
IT, automation, computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields
Experience:
- 2–4 years in roles such as System Administrator, IT Engineer, SCADA or Automation Support
- Basic understanding of SCADA systems, industrial protocols, or IoT integrations is a strong advantage
- Experience administering servers (Windows / Linux), VPNs, user management, and email systems
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and integration mechanisms is a plus
- Experience with BI tools or basic analytics is desirable but not mandatory

- Proactivity, strong organizational skills, and readiness to build processes from scratch
- Interest in analytics, Big Data, and AI, with motivation to grow in this direction
